Itinerary – proposed
Day 1 – Arrive at San José Airport & Drive to Turrialba Valley! (Guayabo Lodge)
Welcome to Costa Rica. Today, you will be met outside the airport and drive to Turrialba valley; you will be staying in a local hotel. It will be an early-to-bed because we want to be rested for the entire week of adventure.
From the San Jose airport, you will be transported from the SJO airport to your first hotel by your private guide and driver. Once you arrive at the hotel, you will have a dinner/orientation where you will have a chance to meet the rest of the group and debrief the week ahead from your guide.

Day 2— Hike to Turrialba Volcano
(Guayabo Lodge)
Is time to some hike, we are going to visit the Turrialba Volcano, it’s one of the most beautiful places in the Americas and a great hike.
When we travel down from the Turrialba Volcano, we visit the town of Aquiares and take another short hike to a the waterfall of Aquiares which is the areas most picturesque waterfall with usually nobody there.

Day 3 — Raft to Pacuare River & Hike Indigenous Community (Pacuare Outdoor Center Lodge)
Today will be rafting the first Pacuare River section into the lodge, and we will stop for some hikes along the way and visit the indigenous community of Tsiobata, and when we arrive at the lodge, have another 20-minute vertical hike to make you feel like you earned what is the heart of our company our Lodge on the Pacuare River and the views are all that and more!
In the evening, your same raft guides will prepare dinner for you while you relax at the lodge and disconnect from the electronics, and re-connect with nature.

Day 4 — Zipline Tarzan Swing & Nature Hike
(Pacuare Outdoor Center Lodge)
Today is a full day of fun at the lodge.
You will be experiencing our infamous Tarzan Swing and Zipline course! The swing will have you swinging hundreds of feet over the river while staying attached in a harness, of course. We have a lower platform for those interested in a less adventurous swing. We’ll also be riding on our zipline so that we will experience the Pacuare River from another level.
Then we are going to hike to a beautiful waterfall where we will have the chance to slide in and have some fun! This is about a one hour hike and will have its vertical challenges hiking down into the canyon. During the night we are going to relax around a bonfire.

Day 5 —Rafting Pacuare Canyon and Travel to Arenal Volcano Area

The day will start by rafting through the tropical rainforest and one of the most scenic areas of Costa Rica. Next, we will pass by canyon walls that rise 300ft and pristine 200ft waterfalls that fall into the river.
Then we are going to start the drive to the home of Arenal Volcano, La Fortuna. Where we are going to spend the next two nights. Make sure to have a good rest because the hiking are going to be waiting for us!

Day 6 — Hike to Cerro Chato
(Los Lagos Resort)
Is time for more adventure so get ready with your hiking shoes and hiking poles because we are going to meet the brother of Arenal Volcano, Cerro Chato, is a lesser-known volcano that sits unassumingly right next to Arenal. Is dormant, it has a stunning emerald, green crater lake that looks almost out of this world. The trek up to the lagoon is one of the more challenging hikes in Costa Rica so get ready!

Day 7— Hike Rio Celeste National Park
(Los Lagos Resort)
After a good rest and delicious breakfast, we are going to be driven a little bit north to the entrance of Tenorio Volcano National Park the home of Rio Celeste. Is an amazing blue-sky river where the Goddess washed the brush when ends painting the sky! Your Hiking shoes and Hiking poles are going to be your best friend for today so do not forget to bring them!

Day 8– Fly Home!!
Today you are going to be transferred to the airport with luggage full of memories and a lot of Pura Vida! ** Is very important to book your flight after mid-day! (Meals: Breakfast)
