Meet Your Coach: Kelly Howard


Hey there, I’m Kelly Howard—your Fitness Consistency Expert with a flair for adventure and the author of the Amazon bestseller FIT: Active & Ageless for Life. For over 25 years, I’ve empowered thousands of women to simplify their fitness routines, have more fun, and adventure beyond their wildest dreams. Whether through my Fit is Freedom podcast, online courses, or transformative retreats, I’m here to change lives. Houston, Texas, is my base, but you can often find me kayaking rivers and exploring trails worldwide.

 

When life changes…
Judy wanted to be the “Cool Grandma”. The one all the kids came to for fun, adventures, and exciting stuff. But deep down, she wanted more than that. She wanted more fun and adventure, but joint pain, lack of sleep, and poor food and drink choices stood in her way.

I asked her – “if you could do anything, you were fit enough to do something that sounds amazing, what would you do”?

Bam, no hesitation.

“I’d become one of those women who aren’t afraid to go on a hiking trip. Someone who walks on a plane with her head held high because she’s confident. Then, she tosses her backpack in the overhead bin because, well, because she is strong and doesn’t need anyone’s help.”

Fast forward five months, and we’re hiking the Appalachian trail, side by side, with Judy surging ahead at times. She hit her stride, and nothing is slowing her down now.

And, in case you’re wondering…she got on our plane and tossed that heavy backpack into the overhead like it was nothing, like she was SuperFIT!
