Every night my husband and I were splitting a bottle of wine, sometimes more and I was waking up in the middle of the night, feeling shame because I had no control. My mother recently passed away and she had ALL the health issues.  I was constantly harping on her to eat less sweets and then I’d come home, completely stressed and do the same damn thing.  Cookies, cakes, ice cream all consumed in front of the TV trying to stomp down all things that were triggering me.  Waking up with sugar hangovers was embarrassing.  I don’t drink but I sure was feeling like sh#t in the morning.  It’s taken me 2 rounds of sugar reset but I’m feeling so much better.  For the first time in years, I’m feeling like I’m in control of my future, and it looks bright.
