I have confidence in my body and abilities, I schedule my workouts instead of "hoping they might happen", my jeans fit and I feel better.

The biggest piece for me is I learned to play in the outdoors in a way that I will always have, I know how to train for big hikes and bike trips, I realize the trainings were "just" a bonus but so good for me, I will never feel like I'm going to be left behind, again!

Why should you put on your oxygen mask first? We know it's because we'll have the wherewithal to get someone else’s mask on properly if ours is already secured.

The same goes for our health and fitness, before we can be good partners, spouses, bosses and parents to those we love and care for, we’ve got to make sure that we are taken care of as well!

Yes, I’m talking about the dreaded self-care, but not bubble baths (necessarily).

For women, our self-care is often overlooked.

If you’re feeling extra tired, burnt out, or like you don’t have ANY time to do anything for yourself, then I hate to break it to you….But that’s a sign that you DESPERATELY need to make the time!

Here are some quick self-care things you can do RIGHT NOW to help your body and your mind…

✅Drink a glass of water
✅Stand up and stretch
✅Go outside for a quick walk
✅Take a cold shower
✅Do 2-minutes of deep breathing

Pick one, give it a try, and notice how great it feels to be taking care of YOU!
